Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle headlamp (1, 2, 3) which enables a semiconductor light-emitting element (31) to be replaced more easily. The vehicle headlamp is characterized by comprising: a lamp housing (12) which is provided with an opening in front of the lamp; a lamp shade (13) covering the above opening; a bracing frame (15) configured in a lamp chamber formed by the lamp housing (12) and the lamp shade (13) and arranged on the lamp housing (12); a light source unit (30) with the semiconductor light-emitting element (31) serving as a light source; and an optical unit (20) that enables light from the semiconductor light-emitting element (31) to be emitted in front of a lamp, wherein the light source unit (30) and the optical unit (20) are together disposed in the lamp chamber and are independently fixed on the bracing frame (15),respectively, and the light source unit (30) can be detached through an opening (18), for detachment, arranged behind the lamp of the lamp housing (12).
