Abstract
The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine external preparation for treating pediatric chronic pneumonia. The pediatric chronic pneumonia is called 'Feierchuanke' in traditional Chinese medicine, is caused from Phlegm- Heat Stasis dispersing and disordered descending functions of the lung. According to the invention, the traditional Chinese medicines with functions of clearing heat and removing toxin, dropping lung qi and clearing lung and eliminating phlegm, including callianthemus, rhizoma pleionis, champion dutchmanspipe root, lobelia sessilifolia, bark of tangut barberry, cortex phellodendri, yine abrus, savoury rhododendron leaf, vernonia cinerea, radix asteris, ephedra herb, folium mori, radix scrophulariae, lignum aquilariae resinatum and liquorice, are ground into powder which is uniformly mixed with honey and vinegar into paste. Through clinical tests of the hospital, the cure rate and the total effective rate reach 68.0% and 96.0% respectively, and are obviously higher than those of a control group. Through external application, the operation is safe and convenient; wounds and cross infection are prevented, few adverse reactions are caused, the inconvenience and pain caused by oral taking and injection are avoided, and the treatment is simplified; and the traditional Chinese medicine external preparation is accepted by pediatric patients more easily and is more suitable for infants and young children, thereby deserving clinical popularization and application.
