The invention relates to the field of extraction, separation and purification of natural products, in particular to a method for purifying
glabridin from
glycyrrhiza glabra waste residues. According to the method, the
glycyrrhiza glabra waste residues are taken as raw materials, and efficient purification is realized through a three-step core process: firstly, heating
reflux extraction is performed by adopting a specific small-polarity
organic solvent; secondly, carrying out primary purification by utilizing
polyamide resin
column chromatography; finally, specific ultra-pure
microsphere polymer adsorption resin or two types of C18 reverse-phase
silica gel fillers are innovatively selected for refining
chromatography. Through optimized combination of a filler
system, the key problems of low purification efficiency, high
solvent consumption, difficulty in large-scale production and the like in a traditional process are solved, the process flow is simple and stable, the
solvent can be recycled, a high-purity product with the
glabridin content not lower than 92% can be efficiently prepared from the waste residues, high-value utilization of waste resources is achieved, and the method is suitable for industrial production. And the method has remarkable economic and environmental benefits.
