Abstract

The invention discloses an air projection keyboard which comprises an air screen generator, a projection system, an infrared camera system, a processing system and an indicator lamp. The air projection keyboard operates according to the main principle: the air screen is an air wall formed by transparent or semitransparent gas (such as vapor); the projection system projects a virtual image of a keyboard to the air wall; when fingers operate the virtual keyboard in a virtual image area, the infrared camera system acquires sensed information of infrared radiation change in the area; the processing system receives the sensed information and calculates push content information of the fingers and transmits the information to an external output device. The virtual keyboard is projected to the air screen with no need of any object or plane. The virtual keyboard is available for both sides and has the artistic effect of stereo projection.
