A quick insertion fastener has an internally threaded first member ("nut") adapted to be quickly attached and tightened on an externally threaded second member ("bolt"). The nut is formed with a casing with an internal frusto-conical front surface, a plurality of threaded shell segments contained in the casing having external frusto-conical front surfaces which abut the front surface of the casing, a spring member positioned at a rear part of the casing which elastically holds the rear ends of the shell assembly together, and an end retainer provided at the rear part of the casing having a taper for engaging the rear ends of the shell assembly and displacing them radially apart when the shell assembly is displaced axially toward the end retainer by insertion of the bolt. This allows the bolt threads to move without interference past the internal threads of the shell segments. When the insertion force of the bolt is released, the spring member urges the shell segments together so that the internal threads of the shell assembly become engaged with the bolt, and the nut can be tightened on the bolt. The spring member may be a radial spring or O-ring, or in the alternatively may be a wave compression spring, segmented spring, circumferential or axial leaf springs, or a flexure spring formed integrally with the end retainer. The nut may also be configured with an external sleeve member for pulling the shell assembly back relative to the nut casing for quick disengagement from the fastener.

The device comprises a main body and an auxiliary body; an encapsulated casing of the main body forms a closed cavity with an outside solid electrode terminal; the cavity is filled with conductive fluid and magnetic fluid hierarchically; when the number of the cavity is more than one, the cavity is internally provided with clapboards which is provided with inside solid electrode terminals; the cavity volume is divided by the clapboards equally, and each cavity is filled with the conductive fluid and the magnetic fluid hierarchically; the auxiliary body comprises a magnetic field generating device and a temperature regulating device; the main body part and the magnetic field generating device are accessed into a controlled circuit; when fault current exists in the controlled circuit, themagnetic field generating device generates large enough gradient magnetic field to rapidly separate the magnetic fluid from the solid electrode terminal so as to realize rapid breaking of circuits. Asthe response time is in a millisecond level, the invention can effectively protect security of electronic equipment and solves the problems such as contact burning, difficult breaking and the like, and the device has the self-recovery function.

Doubling back and fixedly securing the first end portion to a remainder of the flexible strap, a first loop is formed. Thus, a second loop adaptable for attaching about a user's wrist is formed. The flexible strap includes a wrist securing portion formed by the second loop, followed by a palm grasping portion having a length adaptable to be spirally wrapped around a weight bar or the like by using several coils in close proximity to each other, without overlapping. The flexible strap also has anti-slip proprieties on a side adaptable for confronting a palm, fingers and thumb of a user. A material for providing anti-slip proprieties is used. Thus, hand-gripping capacity is enhanced and the user is protected from getting painful skin damage on the hand. No material for providing anti-slip proprieties is used for the other side of the flexible strap, which is opposite to the side of the flexible strap that confronts the palm, fingers and thumb. Thus, when a user is overwhelmed by a load and forced to drop it, the other side of the flexible strip, not provided with an anti-slip material, will rapidly disengage from the weight bar and, thereby, provide security for the user.
