Abstract

A method for machine-to-machine communication is disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention and comprises: obtaining a trigger message which carries identification information of a target network device; analyzing the trigger message to obtain the identification information; and establishing, by means of the identification information, a communication connection between a local target communication layer and a target communication layer of the target network device.
