The MVB class 4 device network card comprises an MVB network controller used for realizing the process data and message data functions of a physical layer and a link layer and configuration and management functions of the network card and upwardly providing a link layer software interface which is specified by a TCN network standard IEC61375-1, and an RTP protocol stack system used for realizing the monitoring data, process data and message data functions of a network layer, a transmission layer, a conversation layer, an expression layer and an application layer and upwardly providing an application layer software interface which is specified by the TCN network standard IEC61375-1. Through the mutual cooperation of the MVB network controller and the RTP protocol stack system, the process data, message data, user configurable and bus management functions and performance which are specified by IEC61375 are realized, and thus a situation that a core device depends on foreign procurement is eliminated.
