Problems solved by technology

The above process is required for each forwarding, which will have two disadvantages. First, with the expansion of the network scale, the average number of forwarding requests to be processed by each node in the network will increase, and the hardware and time resources caused by forwarding will be consumed. The nodes with limited processing capacity will be busy with forwarding processing, and cannot complete the data processing tasks that they should complete as mobile terminals in a timely and effective manner.
Second, when the data processing tasks of the network nodes themselves are busy or there are many forwarding requests in the network, the forwarding requests of some messages cannot be responded in time, resulting in a large end-to-end delay of the messages, which seriously degrades the network performance

Embodiment Construction

[0024] Below in conjunction with accompanying drawing, content of the present invention is described in detail:

[0025] refer to figure 1 , the implementation steps of the present invention are as follows:

[0026] Step 1, initialize the routing table, and update the routing table when the routing information maintained by the network layer changes.

[0027] (1a) The routing table contains the path information of the nodes in the network, and can find an optimal transmission path for the message passing through the current node. Every time the node is turned on, the routing table for fast packet forwarding needs to be initialized in the FPGA. In the FPGA development environment, the IP core tool is used to generate a routing table storage module RAM0 with a storage depth of M and a data width of L bits. The address of the routing table storage module RAM0 represents the destination node in the routing table. The next hop node that the node needs to pass through to reach the...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for fast achieving packet forwarding in a wireless ad hoc network of a TDMA protocol. The problems that in the prior art, node hardware resources are insufficient, time cost caused by packet frames in the forwarding process is large, and network performance is low are solved. The method comprises the implementation steps that a routing table is built in an MAC layer achieved through an FPGA, and after data frames of the MAC layer are received, receiving and forwarding are determined according to the address type of the data frames; if received addresses are broadcast addresses, data are received; if the received addresses are other nodes, a data packet is discarded; if the received addresses are current nodes, destination addresses of the data frames are judged, and if the destination addresses of the data frames are the current nodes, the data are directly received; if the destination addresses of the data frames are other nodes, the data frames are forwarded according to the routing table in the MAC layer. The method effectively lowers hardware resource cost, forwarding end-to-end delay is lowered, and the network performance is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of wireless communication, in particular to a fast forwarding of information packets, which can be used in Ad hoc wireless ad hoc networks using time division multiple access TDMA protocols in different application scenarios. Background technique [0002] The Ad hoc network does not depend on any preset network facilities. Two network nodes within the communication coverage of each other can communicate directly, but two network nodes that are far apart must be forwarded by other network nodes to communicate. Therefore Network nodes are also responsible for message forwarding. Due to the limited communication range of each host, data generally needs to be forwarded by multiple nodes to reach the destination. Therefore, the packet forwarding throughput and delay of nodes have a great impact on the performance of the entire network. [0003] In the traditional Ad hoc network where the multiple access layer adopts the T...
