Problems solved by technology

Therefore, there is still a problem that, despite the superiority of the pharmaceutical dosage form itself, patients cannot take the medicine for a long period of time, causing serious problems in the treatment of chronic diseases and the suppression of exacerbation, in terms of personal health care and national economy due to waste Drug problems, etc. This in turn leads to a lot of cost losses
However, these preparations have the disadvantage that patients suffering from such diseases forget to take their medicines or do not take them at the optimal time, which leads to a significant loss of health

Abstract

The present invention relates to an implant that is implanted into a human body by means of osseointegration. A drug delivery system comprises: an implant (10) for performing a support function, which is implanted into a human body; and a cover unit (20) for performing a covering function, which is coupled to the implant (10). The drug delivery system further comprises: an accommodating unit (12) formed in the implant (10) for accommodating a drug cartridge (30) and intended to be opened / closed by the cover unit (20); a plurality of diffusion units (14) formed in the wall surface of the accommodating unit (12) so as to diffuse and discharge contents of the drug cartridge (30); and injection units (16) formed at the respective ends of the diffusion units (14) for injecting the contents of the drug cartridge (30) into the human body. By continuously injecting drugs using the implant, various inconveniences which might occur due to oral ingestion or injection of the drug and various side effects which might occur due to oral ingestion of the drug are minimized.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an implant configured to be implanted into the human body by osseointegration, and more particularly, to a drug delivery system using the implant, which can use the implant to treat a patient's disease. Various types of drugs are continuously administered into the human body. Background technique [0002] In general, a drug delivery system (DDS) is a dosage form designed to efficiently deliver the appropriate required amount of a drug by maximizing the potency and potency of the drug while minimizing the side effects of the drug. Drug delivery systems serve as a way of addressing the inconveniences involved with oral administration or injection of drugs. [0003] For example, in the case of oral administration of anti-inflammatory painkillers in the treatment of arthritis, the drug delivery system exhibits drug effectiveness when the drug acts on the joint, but side effects may also be involved, such as at sites other ...
