A demand-side interaction based modeling method for power generation dispatching of provincial power grids includes the steps of (1) constructing a power grid model with provinces being nodes and inter-provincial tie lines being edges based on an actual power grid topology; (2) constructing a demand-side orderly power utilization mode and implementing peak load shifting; (3) establishing a constraint mathematical model which utilizes peak load shifting as a variable and keeps power consumption of users unchanged before and after peak load shifting; (4) transforming the constraint mathematical model into a linear programming model by a piecewise linearization method; (5) constructing a power grid power generation dispatching calculation model by comprehensively considering that system power generation cost and user peak shifting cost are minimum as a target function and considering capacity constraint and topological constraint of the nodes and the edges of the power grid model so as to obtain a power plant power generation plan curve. By the method, temporal and spatial power utilization optimization can be achieved, system grid loss is reduced and network congestion is eliminated.
