Abstract

The invention provides an IGMP snooping processing method and system during STA roaming. The method comprises that when an STA roams from a first AP to a second AP, the second AP obtains the MAC address of the STA; if the MAC address of the STA is found in AC, a multicast MAC address corresponding to the MAC address of the STA is obtained, and an IGMP member relation message including the MAC address of the STA and the corresponding multicast MAC address is established and sent to an IGMP server; a switch obtains the multicast MAD address if finding the IGMP member relation message by monitoring, and according to the port, receiving an IGMP query message, of the switch, a <multicast address is formed, and a port>entry in the IGMP query message is received and added to an IGMP snooping route port table. The multicast message can be rapidly and accurately forwarded to the STA which carries out roaming in the roaming scene.
