Abstract

The invention discloses a lightning protection type power extension cord comprising a power line, a housing, a lightning protection module, and a plurality of power output sockets. The lightning protection module and the power output sockets are assembled to a housing panel; and the power line is connected with the lightning protection module and the power output sockets inside the housing. The lightning protection module consists of piezoresistors, a gas discharge tube, an LED tube, a current-limiting resistor, a PCB, temperature fuses, phosphorized copper spring sheets and low-temperature solder points. The piezoresistors and the gas discharge tube form a lightning protection loop; the phosphorized copper spring sheets, the low-temperature solder points, and the low-temperature solder points form a dual release unit and are connected in series into the lightning protection loop; the lightning protection module is connected in parallel between a power line live wire, a zero line, and a ground wire; the dual release unit enables the lightning protection loop to bounce off when the piezoresistors are heated; and the LED tube is connected in series with the current-limiting resistor and then is connected to the piezoresistor sides of the two low-temperature solder points. With the lightning protection type power extension cord, lightning protection of external equipment can be realized and the lightning protection device can also be protected safely.
