Problems solved by technology

[0004] In the prior art, in the visual augmented reality method, the user needs to use the head-mounted display to combine the real world with computer graphics in order to see the real world surrounding him. The head-mounted display gives people an uncomfortable experience
Using the semi-transparent and semi-reflective augmented reality method, no stereoscopic light field is generated, so the augmented reality effect is relatively poor

Embodiment Construction

[0058] Below will combine in the embodiment of the present invention Attached picture , clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention, obviously, the described embodiments are only some of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of them. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without creative efforts fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

[0059] Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for naked-eye 3D augmented reality based on transparent liquid crystals, which are applied to a display device including a transparent liquid crystal display and a liquid crystal grating, wherein the gap between the transparent liquid crystal display and the liquid crystal grating The distance satisfies the 3D imaging conditions. Specifically, the image information and depth information of the real scene a...

Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a naked eye 3D augmented reality method and device based on transparent liquid crystals, which are applied to a display device including a transparent liquid crystal display (LCD) screen and a liquid crystal grating. The distance between the transparent LCD screen and the liquid crystal grating meets a 3D imaging condition. The method comprises the steps of acquiring image information and depth information of a real scene; segmenting the image information according to segmenting rules of a user, the segmented image information containing a fusion region; adjusting depth information of a virtual scene according to the depth information of the fusion region in the image information; according to the position of the fusion region in the image information region, displaying the adjusted virtual scene in a position in the transparent LCD screen; and adjusting liquid crystal grating parameters according to positions of user's eyes to display the virtual scene in a 3D manner. The embodiment of the invention can be used for bringing more comfortable experience to the user, without the need of wearing a helmet display, and for generating a true augmented reality effect.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of augmented reality, in particular to a naked-eye 3D (3dimensional, 3D for short) augmented reality method and device based on transparent liquid crystals. Background technique [0002] Augmented Reality (AR for short) is a new technology that "seamlessly" integrates real-world information and virtual world information. Visual information, sound, taste, touch, etc.), through science and technology such as computers, simulate and then superimpose, apply virtual information to the real world, and be perceived by human senses, so as to achieve a sensory experience beyond reality. The real environment and virtual objects are superimposed on the same picture or space in real time. [0003] The AR system has three outstanding features: ① Information integration between the real world and the virtual world; ② Real-time interactivity; ③ Adding and positioning virtual objects in the three-dimensional scale space. Au...
