Abstract

The invention discloses an infrared controllable partially-polarized radiation source. The infrared controllable partially-polarized radiation source comprises a temperature controller, a blackbody, an infrared parallel light pipe, an infrared ray polaroid and a reflector. The temperature controller controls the temperature of the blackbody. The blackbody emits infrared rays with different wavelengths corresponding to different temperatures. The infrared parallel light pipe collimates the infrared rays emitted by the blackbody. The infrared ray polaroid converts the collimated infrared rays into linearly polarized radiation; according to different incident angles of the linearly polarized radiation, the reflector changes the phase difference of the linearly polarized radiation in two vibration directions which are perpendicular to each other and outputs partial polarized radiation of corresponding polarization states in a reflection manner. The infrared controllable partially-polarized radiation source is capable of generating partial infrared polarized radiation whose polarization states are different and polarization parameters are known, the partial polarized radiation can be generated in a larger polarization degree range, the polarization states of the partial polarized radiation are controllable, and the polarization degree is known, the polarization degree is stable and high in precision when the environment conditions are certain, and the infrared controllable partially-polarized radiation source is applicable to polarization scaling of an infrared polarization imaging system.
