Embodiment Construction

[0031] With reference to the accompanying drawings, specifically Figure 1-3 , shows a module 1 for a modular transfer mat. The module 1 comprises a body part 2 extending transversely to the conveying direction marked with a double-headed arrow P, with a top 3 carrying the products to be conveyed and a bottom 4 cooperating with a not shown conveying track. The bottom 4, viewed along the conveying direction P of the module 1, is provided near the middle part 5 with a tooth chamber 6 extending transversely to the conveying direction for receiving the teeth of the sprocket. The body part 2 is provided at the front part 7 and the rear part 8, viewed in the conveying direction, with a succession of hinge parts 9 and receiving spaces 10 alternately transverse to the conveying direction. The hinge parts 9 and the receiving spaces 10 can be interleaved with the receiving spaces and hinge parts of similar modules that follow in the conveying direction P. The successive modules can be...

Abstract

Module (1) for a modular conveyor mat comprising a body part (2) extending transversely to the conveying direction, having a top (3) and a bottom (4) provided with drive teeth for receiving sprockets tooth cavity (6). The body part is provided with a series of hinge parts (9) and receiving spaces (10) alternately connected transversely to the conveying direction at the front (7) and rear (8), so that the successive modules (1) use hinge pins (11 ) is hingeable, and the hinge pin extends through a hinge hole (13) provided in the hinge portion. The front part is part of the front body part (2A) of the module and the rear part is part of the rear body part (2B) of the module. The front and rear body parts are hinged to each other with respect to a pivot axis (Z) transverse to the tooth chamber (6).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a module for a modular transfer mat and a transfer mat composed of modules. Background technique [0002] Such modules and mats are generally known and used for conveying products. Modules are usually made by moulding, and are usually made of plastic material. [0003] A typical module comprises a body portion extending transversely to the conveying direction, with a top carrying the product to be conveyed and a bottom cooperating with the conveying track. The body part comprises a series of hinge parts and adjacent receiving spaces alternately connected transversely to the direction of conveyance at the front and rear, viewed in the direction of conveyance, so that the hinge parts and the receiving spaces can be received with similar modules connected in the direction of conveyance The space and the hinge part are intertwined with each other. The successive modules can then be hinged using hinge pins which extend transverse...
