The invention relates to a medicine for treating hemoptysis. The medicine comprises 10 g of Lotus rhizome node, 10 g of mulberry bark, 10 g of Eclipta prostrata L, and 10 g of gentian. A preparation method of the medicine includes: using cool water to soak crude drugs for 30 minutes; adding water to enable the water to be higher than the crude drugs by two finger before decocting; using slow fire to decoct for about 40 minutes; taking about 200 ml of drug liquid, and decocting for the second time by using the same method; taking 300 ml of drug liquid, and orally taking the drug liquid of two times after being mixed after meals in two times. By using the medicine, the problem that existing medicines for treating hemoptysis are serious in side effect, addictive, long in treatment time, high in recurrence rate after drug withdrawal and incapable of fundamentally treating hemoptysis is solved. The medicine is suitable for being used for treating hemoptysis.
