The invention relates to a weeding composition. The weeding composition contains pyraclonil, benzobicylon and a sulfonylurea herbicide third active ingredient; the sulfonylurea herbicide third active ingredient is a herbicide selected from bensulfuron methyl, metazosulfuron, propyrisulfuron, halosulfuron-methyl or pyrazosulfuron-ethyl; and the weight ratio of pyraclonil to benzobicylon to the sulfonylurea herbicide third active ingredient is (1-10):(1-10):(1-10). The invention further relates to application of the weeding composition to control of rice field weeds. The weeding composition has the advantages of high effect, low toxicity, high fast-acting property, long lasting period, wide weed-controlling spectrum and so on and is beneficial for comprehensive treatment of the rice field weeds.
