Abstract

The invention presents an off-grid starting system of a marine shaft generator system. The off-grid starting system comprises a motor control system, a microcomputer controller, a grid-connected circuit breaker, and a power factor corrector. The motor control system comprises a brushless doubly-fed motor and a first PWM converter connected with each other. The microcomputer controller is connected with the motor control system and the power factor corrector. The power factor corrector is connected with a grid through the grid-connected circuit breaker. The process in which the marine shaft generator system is started, disconnected from the grid and connected to the grid can be completed through the grid-connected circuit breaker and a direct current source. Artificial operation is simplified. The reliability of the system is improved. The marine shaft generator system can be directly started to off-grid operation, and there is no need to consider whether a marine engine grid can work properly.
