Abstract

The artificial fertilization method for loaches comprises the following steps: 1) seed selection; 2) spawning induction: male loaches and female loaches are placed into a hatching barrel for 24 hours and injected with spawning induction liquid; 3) fertilization: eggs are extruded for female loaches after injection of spawning induction liquid for 13-15 hours and testes of male loaches are taken out; testes mucosae is added with a dextrose solution for 1 minute and residual seminal vesicle is removed; seminal fluids are absorbed into an injection pipe; female loaches are placed into an egg holding device and injected with seminal fluids while a disinfected feather is utilized for stirring 1 minute; oosperms are poured into aerated mineral water and stirred for 2 minutes. By adopting the artificial fertilization method for loaches, fertilization rate of loaches is high and survival rate of loaches is also high.
