Embodiment Construction

[0019] (1) The overall structure of the absorbent article

[0020] refer to Figure 1 to Figure 5 The whole structure of the absorbent article which concerns on one Embodiment of this invention is demonstrated. The absorbent article 1 of the present embodiment is a pants-type sanitary napkin 1 preliminarily formed into a pants shape. In addition, the absorbent article is not limited to a pants-type sanitary napkin, and may be a disposable diaper. In addition, the pants-type sanitary napkin 1 may be a pants-type sanitary napkin for night use or a pants-type sanitary napkin for daily use.

[0021] figure 1 It is a front view of the underpants type sanitary napkin 1 of this embodiment. figure 2 is said to be figure 1 It is an unfolded plan view of the state where the pants-type sanitary napkin 1 is unfolded. figure 2 The unfolded plan view shown is a view of the stretched state in which the elastic member is stretched to a state where no wrinkles are formed on the main bo...

Abstract

The invention discloses an absorbent article (1) which is provided with a front waist-surrounding area (S1), a rear waist-surrounding area (S2) and an absorbent material (13). In the absorbent article, outside edges of the front waist-surrounding area are respectively bonded to outside edges of the rear waist-surrounding area while folding the absorbent article along a first widthwise fold line (FW1) that extends in the direction of the width of the absorbent article. The absorbent article is folded along second widthwise fold lines (FW2), which extend in the direction of the width of the absorbent article, while respectively bonding the outside edges of the front waist-surrounding area to the outside edges of the rear waist-surrounding area. The thickness of the absorbent material varies in the absorbent article, wherein the second widthwise fold lines (FW2) are boundary lines of the variations.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an absorbent article. Background technique [0002] Absorbent articles have been reduced in size for easy portability and storage. In particular, absorbent articles such as pants-type sanitary napkins and disposable diapers have a larger volume than sanitary napkins worn on underwear, and thus are highly expected to be miniaturized. Against such a background, there is provided an absorbent article packaged in a folded state (Patent Document 1). The absorbent article of Patent Document 1 is folded based on a folding line extending in the width direction and stored in a packaging material (Patent Document 1 figure 1 and figure 2 ). [0003] prior art literature [0004] patent documents [0005] Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-42029 [0006] However, the above-mentioned absorbent article has the following problems. [0007] The fold lines of the absorbent article extend in the width dire...
