Abstract

The invention discloses an attractant composition for preventing and controlling agrotis ypsilon and application thereof. The attractant composition comprises agrotis ypsilon sex pheromone and synergist in a mass ratio of 1:0.1, wherein the main ingredient of the agrotis ypsilon sex pheromone is cis-7-dodecenyl acetate, cis-9-tetradecyl acetate and cis-11-hexadecyl acetate, and the synergist is selected from one or more of 2-phenethyl alcohol, ethyl benzoate and benzyl acetate. The attractant composition can be used for effectively attracting and killing male worms of agrotis ypsilon, reducing the reproductive rate and gradually controlling extinction of pest population, so that the aim of preventing and controlling pests can be achieved.
