Abstract

The invention provides a medicinal composition for preventing and treating dental caries. The medicinal composition is gel made of chitosan, beta-sodium glycero-phosphate and sodium fluoride as main components. The invention further provides a preparation method of the gel. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) dissolving chitosan into a 0.05mol / L medicinal composition hydrochloric acid solution so as to obtain a saturated chitosan-hydrochloric acid solution, performing high-temperature sterilization, and cooling to a normal temperature for later use; 2) preparing a 56%w / v beta-sodium glycero-phosphate solution from deionized water; 3) putting sodium fluoride into the saturated chitosan-hydrochloric acid solution prepared in the step 1), dropping the beta-sodium glycero-phosphate solution prepared in the step 2), and uniformly stirring in an icy water bath, so as to obtain chitosan-sodium fluoride gel. The medicinal composition for preventing and treating dental caries, which is provided by the invention, is relatively low in cost when being compared with duraphat, in addition, tests show that acid erosion of teeth can be effectively inhibited, and remineralization of dental caries can be promoted, in addition, the composition is simple to preserve and convenient to use, and applicable to wide clinical popularization and application.
