6 results about "Acid erosion" patented technology

Acid erosion is a type of tooth wear. It is defined as the irreversible loss of tooth structure due to chemical dissolution by acids not of bacterial origin. Dental erosion is the most common chronic disease of children ages 5–17, although it is only relatively recently that it has been recognised as a dental health problem. There is generally widespread ignorance of the damaging effects of acid erosion; this is particularly the case with erosion due to fruit juices, because they tend to be seen as healthy. Acid erosion begins initially in the enamel, causing it to become thin, and can progress into dentin, giving the tooth a dull yellow appearance and leading to dentin hypersensitivity.

COF heterojunction nanosphere with biomimetic mineralization and antibacterial functions as well as preparation method and application of COF heterojunction nanosphere

The invention relates to the technical field of biomedical materials, in particular to a COF heterojunction nanosphere with biomimetic mineralization and antibacterial functions and a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing a magnolol solution, a 1, 3, 5-tris (4-aminophenyl) benzene solution, a polyvinylpyrrolidone solution, a 2, 5-dimethoxybenzene-1, 4-dicarboxaldehyde solution and acetic acid, so as to obtain COFDMTP-coated Honokiol nanospheres; the preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing 4, 4 '-((2, 5-diformyl-1, 4-phenylene) bis (oxy)) dibutyric acid, COFDMTP (at) Honokiol nanospheres, acetonitrile and an acetic acid solution, and reacting to obtain the COFFPBA (at) Honokiol heterojunction nanospheres. The heterojunction nanosphere provided by the invention not only can promote the mineralization of acid-etched enamel, but also can effectively inhibit the growth of oral bacteria and reduce the occurrence of decayed teeth.

The invention discloses an embedded tooth traction device and method, and belongs to the technical field of orthodontic tools. The device comprises a bonding ring, a combined ring and a stress application unit, the bonding ring, the combined ring and the stress application unit are integrally made of orthodontic ligature wires, the bonding ring can be tightly attached according to the radian of the surface of an embedded tooth, the combined ring comprises a plurality of continuous ligature rings and can be adjusted in direction according to a preset track, and the stress application unit adopts TP elastic cotton threads or NITI wires to provide traction force. The traction method comprises the steps of surgical exposure of embedded teeth, sufficient hemostasis, acid etching and bonding, direction adjustment, surgical suture, closed traction, stress application, revival adjustment and the like. The problems that an existing traction accessory is low in sealing degree, prone to falling off, uncontrollable in traction direction, difficult in closed traction suturing and capable of damaging periodontium are solved, the traction accessory has the advantages of being firm in bonding, accurate in traction, minimally invasive, friendly, low in cost and convenient and fast to operate, the traction success rate of the embedded tooth can be effectively increased, and pain of a patient is relieved.
