Abstract

The present invention discloses a coin dispensing apparatus and a control method thereof, and a settlement apparatus which are capable of avoiding the generation of conditions that the part of paid coins are left in a receiving disc. The coin dispensing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a dispensing module, a detecting module, and a warning module. The dispensing module dispenses coinsto a receiving tray. The detecting module detects that there is a probability that at least some of the coins dispensed to the receiving tray are taken out. The warning module executes a predetermined warning operation if the detecting module detects that there is a probability that some of the coins are taken out during a period from a time at which the dispensing module starts the dispensing ofthe coins to a time at which the dispensing is completed.
