Abstract

The method comprises the steps that an incident input light pulse is subjected to polarizationsplitting to be split into a first transmission light pulse and a second transmission light pulse; each of the first transmission light pulse and the second transmission light pulse is subjected to phase decoding and then output through two associated light sub-paths; an output light pulse from one of the two light sub-paths associated with the first transmission light pulse is directly output for detection, and an output light pulse from one of the two light sub-paths associated with the second transmission light pulse is directly output for detection. According to the method, the influencesgenerated on the system stability by random changes of the light pulse polarization state can be effectively solved, and stable phase decoding capable of resisting environment interference is achieved; and in addition, an unequal-arm Mach-Zehnder interferometer can be adopted, the light pulse only needs to pass through a phase modulator once during decoding, the insertion loss of the receiving end is reduced, and the system efficiency is improved.
