Design rule checking system and method

A method for performing design rule checking on OPC corrected or otherwise corrected designs is described. This method comprises accessing a corrected design and generating a simulated image. The simulated image corresponds to a simulation of an image which would be printed on a wafer if the wafer were exposed to an illumination source directed through the corrected design. The characteristics of the illumination source are determined by a set of lithography parameters. In creating the image, additional characteristics can be used to simulate portions of the fabrication process. However, what is important is that a resulting simulated image is created. The simulated image can then be used by the design rule checker. Importantly, the simulated image can be processed to reduce the number of vertices in the simulated image, relative to the number of vertices in the OPC corrected design layout. Also, the simulated image can be compared with an idea layout image, the results of which can then be used to reduce the amount of information that is needed to perform the design rule checking.

The combustion gas mass flow can be also increased by four times as much as the conventional turbine system (up to the theoretical air to fuel ratio) and the thermal efficiency and the specific power of the gas turbine cycle are considerably increased.Further, the thermal efficiency of the combined system is improved by installing a magnetic friction power transmission system to transmit the power of the system to outer loads.

The invention provides a power factor correction scheme producing a greater circuit power factor and improved frequency spectrum characteristics, in which a voltage corresponding to the instantaneous inductor current is sampled and compared to a scaled sample of the rectified input AC line voltage. The line voltage sample modulates the inductor peak charge current in the envelope of the rectified AC voltage waveform. This drives the LED output voltage at a frequency of twice the input line voltage frequency, such that no flicker is perceived in the light output because the persistence in LED phosphor assists in averaging the flux output.

Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate providing page-level database restore functionality upon detection of a corruption event. Updates to a data page in a database can trigger generation of a snapshot of the data page, and an update log can be maintained that stores information related to page updates. Subsequent snapshots can be generated at predetermined intervals and can trigger truncation of a log segment and initiation of a new log segment. Upon detection of page corruption, a most-recent uncorrupt snapshot of the corrupt page can be identified, copied to the location of the corrupt page in the database, and modified according to the log segment associated with the uncorrupt snapshot to make the page current as of the corrupting event, all of which can be performed to restore the database without having to take the database offline.
