Abstract

The invention discloses a short-circuit protection system of a sewing machine. The system comprises a main control module used for sequentially sending a first control instruction of a first time length and a second control instruction of a second time length after detecting that a motor is started, then controlling the motor in an SVPWM mode, and closing the output of the main control module itself to a driving chip upon receiving an interrupt instruction; the driving chip used for controlling the on-off state of each bridge arm in a three-phase inverter circuit to be maintained as a first combination upon receiving the first control instruction, controlling the on-off state of each bridge arm in the three-phase inverter circuit to be maintained as a second combination upon receiving thesecond control instruction, closing the output of the three-phase inverter circuit and sending an interrupt instruction to the main control module upon detecting the over-current condition of a bus current; and the three-phase inverter circuit. By applying the scheme provided by the invention, whether the short circuit condition exists or not can be detected when the motor is started. The invention further discloses a sewing machine and a short-circuit protection method thereof. The sewing machine and the short-circuit protection method have corresponding effects.
