Embodiment Construction

[0020] exist figure 1 shows in a three-dimensional diagram a plurality of locations 10 that can be assigned to the same three-word sequence containing three words. The locations 10 each have a number 1-9 which describes their position within the three-word sequence square 12 represented by the three-word sequence. For example, the three-word sequence can be the three-word sequence block 12 of the so-called "What3Words" concept. Here, the three-word sequence square 12 is subdivided into nine small squares of 1 square meter each. The "What3Words" concept uses three words to determine the location and thereby achieve an accuracy of nine square meters. By further subdividing into nine small squares, the accuracy can be increased to 1 square meter.

Abstract

The invention relates to an address allocation method, in which a coordinate device is used to determine coordinate data which characterize a two-dimensional position of a delimited location (10), andin which the determined coordinate data are assigned to a word sequence having at least a plurality of words by means of an allocation device, wherein a height determination device is used to determine height data which characterize a height of the delimited location (10) relative to a predetermined normal height (16), and wherein the word sequence is adapted on the basis of the determined heightdata by means of the allocation device, wherein the word sequence uniquely characterizes the coordinate data and height data allocated to the delimited location (10).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an address assignment method according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a computing device for assigning addresses to delimited locations. Background technique [0002] Such an address allocation method has been disclosed by WO 2014 / 170646 A1. In this method, a processor receives geographic coordinates of a location and converts them into a plurality of words that can be used as a means of location determination. These words, and especially the three-word sequences, are easily noticed by users and can be communicated without error between many users with a high probability. In addition, these words are very advantageous for voice control of the navigation device, since these words can be detected with a very low probability of error compared to numerical sequences. These words, which explicitly describe geographic coordinates, are also user-friendly in that word sequences formed from these words always define exactly one pla...
