Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preventing and controlling wax-moth larvas by utilizing symbiotic relationship between black ants and Chinese bees. That is, the living habit that the black ants like preying wax scraps, dead bees, the wax-moth larvas and wax-moth larva eggs is utilized to prevent and control the wax-moth larvas in Chinese bee hives and clean the hives, and meanwhile, strong bee colonies are utilized to protect honeycombs and prevent invasion of the black ants to realize symbiotic mutual benefit of the black ants and the Chinese bees. The method comprises the steps of beehive leaving the ground, bee colony strengthening, ant luring, ant introducing and ant colony vigor control. The method is a pure biological method, does not need any chemical agent, is simple, convenient to manage and free of any ecological risk, can ensure the quality of the honey while effectively preventing and controlling the wax-moth larvas, and is very suitable for the technical requirementsof the current ecological green bee industry development.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of honey cultivation and pest control, and in particular relates to a method for controlling brood insects by using the symbiotic relationship between black ants and middle bees. Background technique [0002] There are mainly two major diseases and insect pests in bee breeding, one is the nest pest in the beehive, and the other is the rotten disease in the hive, of which more than 95% are nest pests. Beehive broodworms mainly include large and small wax moths, cotton worms and moths, etc. Broodworms reproduce quickly and have strong vitality, which has a great impact on beekeeping. When the broodworm reproduces, it will bite the spleen, eat wax, damage the larvae and pupae, affect the production and quality of honey, and seriously cause the escape of the bee colony. The bee species cultivated in my country mainly include Italian honey bee (Apismellifera Ligustica Spinola) and Chinese honey bee (Apis cerana)...
