The React Native-based hot update method provided by the invention comprises the following steps: a server hot update loading step: adding application program version information as a baseline version; configuring a baseline packet according to the baseline version; configuring a difference packet according to the baseline version, configuring a hot update strategy rule, and uploading an updated bundle resource file; comparing the bundle resource file of the baseline packet with the bundle resource file of the difference packet to generate a difference patch file; a client hot update loading step: loading a local bundle resource file; obtaining a difference patch file; the local bundle resource file and the difference patch file are combined to serve as an updated bundle resource file offline package; and loading the updated bundle resource file offline package. Under the condition that a user does not perceive, classified hot updating is conducted on the application programs, dependence on the environment and hardware is avoided, operation is easy, and the development and maintenance cost is low.
