Embodiment Construction

[0013] In FIG. 1 a wrist-link wristwatch according to the invention is shown in a nearly complete manner and in perspective. Shown are two bracelet parts 6 and 7 attached to watch case 1 . Such a watch case encloses a watch movement in a known manner. Each bracelet part 6 and 7 consists of a series of links 8 articulated one behind the other. The articulation therein consists of a cylindrical rod 9 inserted between two chain links 8 . For this purpose, the chain links 8 have concave sides which make it possible to enclose the rod 9 between the chain links 8 . It should be noted, however, that the use of rods is not essential, and that the links can be articulated directly one after the other by the engagement of grooves and protrusions formed directly in the sides of the links, as for example documented in CH-A-467598 obvious. The links 8 each have at least one hole 13 , 15 , as is apparent from the end of the wrist chain part 7 in FIG. 1 . The flexible lacing 10 securing...

Abstract

A bracelet (6, 7) includes a series of links (8) articulated via bars (9). The links and the bars are held together by a tie (10) passing through holes (13, 15). The end (2) of the bracelet (6) includes a special link (3) to which the tie (10) is fastened by means of a fixing device (14, 16). This special link (3) is provided with a recess (4) arranged after said fixing device. A certain excess portion (11, 12) of the tie (10) can be held in reserve in this recess (4).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a wrist watch comprising two cases connected to enclose a movement, each said part consisting of a series of links articulated one behind the other, such links having at least one aperture , a flexible tie passes through to hold them together and connect each part to the case. Background technique [0002] Straps connecting together the links in a bracelet and for connecting the bracelet to a watch case are disclosed in several documents. [0003] In document EP-A-0167891 is disclosed a wrist watch comprising a plurality of elements articulated one behind the other. One of these elements is connected to the timepiece, and the other elements form the links in the wrist chain. These elements are enclosed and held together end-to-end by two flexible, non-extended ties which pass through apertures formed in each element and distributed on either side of the longitudinal axis of the wrist watch. The wrist watch also includes a br...
