[0063]There are recognized difficulties in storing and displaying UV-sensitive product in a manner that both protects them from substantial UV exposure and / or the effects thereof, and so that a consumer can see the attributes of the product, for example, an appealing color. Further, it was believed that the UV-curable products could not be stored and / or displayed in a package that allowed any UV light to pass through to the contents. In accordance with the disclosure, surprisingly, the inventor has discovered that if a transparent container, such as a glass bottle, is coated with a coating that restricts light transmission therethrough, a small transparent viewing window can be left through which the product color can be observed. Disclosed are packages including transparent containers such as bottles and jars comprising a coating that reduces transmission of light through the container. The containers further comprise a product viewing area or window through which the product is visible to a consumer or purchaser. The containers are disclosed as being useful for protecting photo-sensitive products while allowing the color of those products to be displayed to the user.
