Abstract

The invention relates to a novel demeric flavonoid compound expressed by the formula (1) and also relates to a preparation method for demeric flavonoid compound and the application of the demeric flavonoid compound in treatment of cancers, especially the cervical cancer, gastric cancer and liver cancer. The compound of the invention is obtained through separation from the roots of the Ephedra sinica. The experiments prove that the compound of the invention has intensive cytotoxicity and exerts an inhibitory action on the HeLa cervical carcinoma cells, SGC-7901 gastric cancer cells and HepG2 hepatocellular carcinoma cells. The IC50 values are all approximately 10Mug / mL, which indicates that the compound of the invention has more distinc growth inhibitory effect on the cancer cells.
