Abstract

Provided are a method and an apparatus for video telephony in a mobile communication terminal. According to the method, when a calling mobile communication terminal attempts video telephony, call connection between the calling mobile communication terminal and a called mobile communication terminal is made. The calling mobile communication terminal checks whether video telephony profile data of the called mobile communication terminal has been registered.
