The invention discloses a self-adaptive modulation control method for a time-division synchronization code-division multiple address (TD-SCDMA) system, wherein the steps are: a wireless network controller measures the quality of a first-directional channel, and determines whether the modulation mode is the orthogonal-phase keying modulation or the eight-phase keying modulation; when the modulation mode is one of the two modulation modes, determine whether the measurement value of the quality of the first-directional channel meets the preset first-directional judging criteria of the other modulation mode or not, and if yes, the first-directional modulation mode is changed and allocated into the other modulation mode.
