Embodiment 1 and 2

[0247] Examples 1 and 2 : These embodiments are exemplary waistbands that may be used in the diapers depicted in FIGS. 3-4. The belt may be constructed as follows:

[0248] 1) A blended elastomeric film comprising about 45% Vector 4211 available from Dexco Polymers L.P. (Houston, Texas), 45% poly(t-butylstyrene) and 10% mineral oil. Poly(tert-butylstyrene) ideally has a weight average molecular weight of about 1.99E-20 g (12 kDa). The elastomeric film is aged. The films used in Examples 1 and 2 were aged for at least 24 months.

[0249] 2) Resize the elastomeric film into a substantially rectangular strip having a length of 120mm, a width of 5mm and a thickness of about 0.14mm to about 0.17mm. The tape was stretched to 600mm (ie, 400% strain) and bonded to the first substrate. The first substrate may be 620 to 660mm long and may be 70 to 120mm wide, preferably 70mm. The first substrate may be a commercially available nonwoven material, for example from Fibertex A / S (Aal...
