Embodiment Construction

[0033] The microwave oven designed according to the subwavelength structure adopts the following steps when designing and manufacturing:

[0034] step 1:

[0035] Simulate metallic subwavelength structures to determine periodic structures and structure dimensions on dielectric plates. The size of the metal subwavelength structure, the loss of the metal and the dielectric plate and other material properties need to be considered during the simulation. Adjust the simulation parameters so that the microwave energy can pass through the metal sub-wavelength structure on the dielectric plate with low loss, without affecting the microwave use and absorption of the load, and at the same time obtain a relatively uniform microwave field distribution.

[0036] Step 2:

[0037] According to the simulation result of step 1, the metal subwavelength structure is fabricated on the dielectric plate with optimized structural parameters. Metallic subwavelength structures can be fabricated by ...

Abstract

A microwave oven having metal sub-wavelength structure belongs to the technical field of microwave heating and relates to the electromagnetics of metal sub-wavelength structure, comprising a microwave oven cavity, a magnetron, a wave guide, and a microwave output window; and further comprising a dielectric plate having a metal sub-wavelength structure and fixed on the wall of the microwave oven cavity in front of the microwave output window through a support. The microwave energy from the magnetron passes through the metal sub-wavelength structure on the dielectric plate and radiates in the microwave oven cavity via the microwave output window; metal surface electronics and the microwave energy can be coupled by the metal sub-wavelength structure to effectively improve the uniformity of microwave energy distribution. The invention not only can effectively improve the uniformity of microwave field distribution in the microwave oven cavity, but can effectively improve the energy transmission efficiency and reduce the cost of the microwave oven by increasing the space utilization of the microwave oven cavity on the basis of safety.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of microwave heating, relates to metal subwavelength structure electromagnetism, and particularly relates to a microwave oven. Background technique [0002] A microwave oven is a household appliance that uses electromagnetic energy in the microwave frequency band to heat food and beverages in a cavity. The principle of heating food in a microwave oven is to convert electric energy into microwave energy through a magnetron and then transmit it to the oven cavity. A certain distributed microwave field is established in the oven cavity. When the food is in the microwave field, the food will absorb the microwave energy and make the food The inside and outside are heated simultaneously. A microwave oven is mainly composed of a magnetron, a waveguide, a microwave energy output window, a microwave cavity, a furnace door, and supporting circuits. The basic structure of a microwave oven is shown in figure 1 . The ...
