Abstract
The invention discloses an application of palmatine in medicine for treating dengue virus infection; the inhibition ratio of palmatine to dengue virus (DENV) under the condition that the concentration of the palmatine is 100mu m is 94.95 percent, and the survival rate of Vero cells is 92.93 percent under the condition that the concentration of the palmatine is 100mu m. The palmatine can effectively inhibit proliferation of dengue virus, but has low cytotoxicity, therefore, the palmatine can be further developed into the medicine for treating diseases caused by dengue virus infection and has wide application prospect.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of biomedicine, and more specifically relates to the application of palmatine in medicine for treating or preventing dengue virus infection. Background technique [0002] Dengue virus (DENV) can cause dengue fever, which is transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. Severely infected people will develop dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome, and the fatality rate is extremely high. There are four serotypes of the virus, with serotype 2 being the circulating strain. The disease is mainly endemic in tropical and subtropical countries in Southeast Asia, the Pacific region, and the Americas. China's Guangdong Province, Hainan Province, and Guangxi Province had 14 dengue fever epidemics of different scales. The main vectors of dengue fever in China are Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. The former is distributed in the southern coastal areas, while the latter is widely distributed in the north and south regions. It...
