Abstract

The electronic device comprises a CPU, a memory, a storage software, a switching circuit, a counting device and a power adapter; files are set in multiple environments when the storage software operates, the switching circuit is coupled with the power adapter and detects disconnection and then connection of the power adapter with an external power source in preset time, based on which, count pulse is transmitted to the counting device, the CPU reads value of the counting device, reads one of the corresponding environmental setting files from the memory and then carries out restoration setting on the environment where the electronic device software operates in through the read environmental setting file. The invention also provides a method for restoring environmental setting when the electronic device software operates.
