This invention provides a method and device for monitoring leakage in a converter valve, belonging to the field of leakage monitoring technology. It includes a valve
tower, with a
water collection tray fixedly connected to its bottom. The inner bottom wall of the
water collection tray has an inclined surface sloping towards the center. A water inlet cylinder is fixedly connected to the inner bottom wall of the
water collection tray. The outer top wall of the water inlet cylinder has several first locking grooves arranged in a circumferential array. The outer wall of the water inlet cylinder near the first locking grooves has several water inlet channels arranged in a circumferential array. First locking posts are symmetrically fixedly connected to the outer wall of the water inlet cylinder near the bottom. A monitoring component is also included, used to monitor leakage in the converter valve, and connected to the water inlet cylinder. This invention, by setting up a monitoring component, simplifies the alarm triggering method when
coolant enters the device, and avoids the influence of colloidal substances on the alarm triggering accuracy.
