Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of: ensuring a port type of the current port by the convergent ring device, wherein the convergent ring device is provided with the functions of a boundary clock and a transparent clock, the port type comprises a main port, a secondary port and a service port, and the service port is connected with an access ring; and processing a PTP (Precision Time Synchronization Protocol) message according to the determined port type by the convergent ring device to synchronize the devices in the convergent network. The invention solves the problem of poor synchronicity among the devices in the convergent network, simplifies the synchronous operation among the devices in the convergent network and increases system performance.
