The invention relates to a user terminal and a method for measuring PCCPCHRSCP (Primary Common Control Physical Channel Received Signal Code Power). The user terminal comprises a cache module, a control module and a measuring module. The method comprises the following steps of: caching FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) and a reciprocal of the FFT of basic Midamble codes of all measuring cells in advance by the user terminal; after receiving a measuring command, carrying out channel estimation on all the measuring cells according to the cached FFT and the reciprocal of the FFT of the basic Midamble codes; and calculating the PCCPCHRSCP of the corresponding cell according to a channel estimating result. The invention improves the measuring precision and reduces the calculation amount and power consumption.
