The reader module may be able to communicate and receive data from an implanted device when in a certain proximity of the implanted device and may be able to store, analyze, and / or transmit data to a different wireless device over a network, for example. In an embodiment, the reader module may be portable and wearable, e.g., through use of a garment or strap.
