The invention relates to a vision protection implementation method of electronic equipment with a display screen. A front panel of the electronic equipment is provided with a front-facing camera and a distance sensor. The vision protection implementation method comprises the following steps of: detecting a working state of the display screen, `starting the front-facing camera on back stage when the display screen is activated and capturing human face images; identifying the human face images by using a human face identification technology and capturing a frontal human face; when the system judges that the frontal human face exists in the captured images, starting the distance sensor on back stage and measuring a distance between eyes of a user and the display screen; and comparing a measured distance with a preset reference distance, and judging whether to remind a user to adjust the distance between the eyes and the display screen. According to the vision protection implementation method, the purpose of protecting eyes of the user is achieved by monitoring the distance between the eyes of the user and the mobilephone screen by two external equipments, namely the front-facing camera and the distance sensor; and because the step of judging the frontal human face is added, the monitoring accuracy is improved and the trouble brought to the user due to wrong prompt information is avoided.

The invention relates to an eye protecting device and method for a mobile terminal. The eye protecting device comprises a distance measurement unit, a central processing unit and an alarm prompt unit. The working principle of the eye protecting device is that when the mobile terminal starts an eye protecting function, the distance between a user and the mobile terminal is measured through the distance measurement unit in real time, and measurement results are transmitted to the central processing unit; when the distance between the user and the mobile terminal is smaller than the set distance threshold value all the time within the set time threshold value, an alarm prompt message is transmitted to the user through the alarm prompt unit to prompt the user to keep a healthy range of visibility, display of the mobile terminal returns to normal until the distance between the user and the mobile terminal is larger than the set distance threshold value again, the alarm prompt message disappears, and therefore, the healthy range of visibility between the user and the mobile terminal is kept. Furthermore, when the reminding interval time is up and the user uses the mobile terminal without rest, an alarm prompt message is transmitted to the user through the alarm prompt unit, and the purposes of preventing shortsightedness and protecting eyes are achieved.
