Embodiment Construction

[0023] The present invention proposes a method for managing WIMAX terminal nodes based on the OMA DM standard object, and manages each node of the mobile device uniformly through the WIMAX MO management object, instead of processing each node of the mobile device scatteredly.

[0024] The technical solution of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0025] Such as figure 1 As shown, it is a schematic diagram of a basic session flow in the OMA DM protocol. The basic session process in the OMA DM protocol includes two stages of session establishment and session management.

[0026] If the session establishment phase is triggered by the server, the server first sends Package 0 to the client to prompt the user to start establishing a session; secondly, after receiving the Package 0 information, the client starts to connect back to the server and sends Package 1 data; finally, the server sends...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for managing worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WIMAX) nodes through an open mobile alliance device management (OMA DM) standard object. The method comprises the following steps that: a client or a server requests to initiate an OMA DM protocol-based management session; the server transmits a command for updating worldwide interoperability for microwave access management object (MIMAX MO) nodes and informing the client of node parameter information to be updated; and the client updates the information contents of the nodes according to updating parameters which are required by the server, and requests the server to finish the session if one of the nodes is not updated successfully. The mechanism of managing the WIMAX nodes uniformly is introduced, so that the uniformity and the standardability of the WIMAX nodes are ensured, the nodes are managed more easily and more efficiently through the DM, and the interacting time of the client and the server and bandwidth resources are saved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a method and device for managing WIMAX nodes through OMA DM standard objects. Background technique [0002] OMA (Open Mobile Alliance, Open Mobile Alliance), its purpose is to define an open standard framework to provide users with seamless end-to-end services. and manage various applications and services. [0003] OMA DM (Device Management, that is, terminal management), OTA (Over The Air, air download technology) is to download the management command data from the network side to the terminal device, and the terminal device will automatically run it. It is a low-cost remote management solution that completes terminal software and hardware upgrades, parameter configurations, and diagnostics. At the same time, the DM can also transfer the service information required by the operator and the function information of the terminal equipment from the terminal equipment to the...
