This invention discloses a method and
system for multimodal storage and retrieval of geographic entities, comprising: a four-layer progressive
storage structure divided according to semantic abstraction levels, with each layer vertically connected by a globally unique
entity identifier, and each layer capable of independent field expansion or data updates without affecting the query availability of other
layers; a six-
modal fusion unified
vector generation module, which generates a unified dense vector by projecting and fusioning six modalities (visual, symbolic, geometric, contextual, attribute, and knowledge) through a network; a unified query engine for seven types of queries, which automatically selects the optimal storage layer according to the query type, supporting spatial, attribute, semantic, vector,
hybrid, relational, and
natural language queries; a human-computer collaborative interface based on
open standard protocols; and a
relational graph module. This invention achieves comprehensive, multimodal, progressive storage and intelligent retrieval of geographic entities from geometry to
semantics.
