The method for self-configuration of the base station includes: the adaptation management entity receives connection requests sent by a base station eNodeB (evolved node B) and sends information acquisition requests to the eNodeB; and the adaptation management entity receives indentifying information sent by the eNodeB according to the information acquisition requests and judges whether the eNodeB and a first EMS (element management system) corresponding to the adaptation management entity belong to a same manufacturer or not according to manufacturer logos in the indentifying information, if yes, address information of the first EMS is sent to the eNodeB to enable the eNodeB to acquire software and configuration parameters from the first EMS, and if not, address information of a second EMS is acquired from the adaptation management entity corresponding to the second EMS which corresponds to the manufacturer logos, and the address information of the second EMS is sent to the eNodeB. The adaptation management entity and the method and the system for self-configuration of the base station realize self-configuration of eNodeB in a multi-manufacturer environment.
