The method includes receiving a distribution requirement and determining the validity of the distribution requirement which comprises data to be distributed and information of the using organization; if the distribution requirement is valid, generating a copy of the data corresponding to the distribution requirement according to the distribution requirement; and adding the establishment and utilization of the organization identification for the copy of the data. According to the method and the device, the data established by certain organization are distributed to other organizations for use according to the distribution requirement, therefore data are not needed to be transmitted between the data bases, the high required performance and the resource cost of the data bases caused by data transmission dependence are prevented, and the high bit error ratio and proneness to loss of the data during the transmission process are prevented. Additionally, not only repeated type-in of the same data by a plurality of organizations is avoided and load of personnel is reduced, but also data type-in errors caused by artificial type-in are avoided.
