Each 6LoWPAN domain or Zigbee domain is set into an IPv6 multicast group to further prevent a broadcast storm. When a 6LoWPAN domain communicates with a Zigbee domain, the 6LoWPAN domain and the Zigbee domain share a group ID, and when the 6LoWPAN domain stops communicating with the Zigbee domain, sharing is canceled.
