Abstract

The invention relates to a mobile terminal and a rapid lighting method thereof. The mobile terminal comprises a touch screen driver, a microcontroller and a light emitting diode (LED) module, wherein the microcontroller is used for confirming a gesture received by a screen of the mobile terminal according to a register preset in the touch screen driver, a lighting starting signal is sent to the LED module to start lighting when the gesture is confirmed to be a lighting starting gesture, and a lighting shutting signal is sent to the LED module to shut lighting when the gesture is confirmed to be a lighting shutting gesture. According to the mobile terminal and the rapid lighting method thereof, the operation is simple, the achievement process is fast and convenient, functions of fast and convenient emergency lighting can be achieved, and the screen of the mobile terminal can not be lightened while lighting is achieved so that unnecessary consumption can be effectively reduced.
